Mic and his mom Mina traveled throughout Vietnam in the summer of 2018 and stayed in the communities of Saigon, Hội An, Da Nang, and Tam Kỳ. With the help of entrepreneur and philanthropist Nguyên Nguyễn, Mic and Mina organized and hosted a charity event at the Tanh Ha Terra Cotta Village Park in Hội An, inviting over three hundred locals to participate in a festival of Western painting, sculpting, and drawing. The night was concluded by a music concert featuring Mic as well as a couple other Vietnamese instrumentalists and singers he collaborated and performed with.

Mic and Mina organized a second arts & music event at Hướng Dương Việt, a non-profit Home and School for the Disabled Children in Tam Kỳ, Quảng Nam. The event similarly included activities in Western art and was concluded by Mic's piano performance as well as a student and teacher performance from the school. They also raised and donated over $5000.
Lastly, they participated in the Creating Arts from Discarded Plastic Project, part of the Vietnamese Green Environment Project that creates opportunities all over the nation for the community to participate in events that create art and robots out of trash, promoting "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle."
Mic, his mom, and the group designed a giant mural out of only trash and paint while trading the dialect of both English and Vietnamese.
