Micangelo Ferrante, 20, is a composer, pianist, songwriter, arranger, and music producer from classical and jazz to the hip-hop, EDM, and "world percussion" realms. Mic was a 2019/20 fellow of the LA Philharmonic Nancy and Barry Sanders Composer Fellowship Program under the direction of Andrew Norman and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

He has recorded with musicians and orchestras throughout Europe and Asia for multiple feature films, in which he recently scored Amy Stolz's Subconsious Dreamer and has written additional music for Suneil Anand's

Vagator Mixer

His adept piano playing has allowed him to travel throughout Vietnam and coordinate numerous charity events, as well as at home, organizing and leading a benefits concert for Education Through Music-LA with Victoria Lanier.

Mic is a recipient of the 2021 BMI Student Composer Awards and the Carlos Surinach Prize, honoring the youngest winner of the competition.

Aside from music, he coaches for his Burbank little league football team and enjoys spending time with his family and the 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘴. Mic is a current junior undergraduate at the University of Southern California

to B.M. in Classical Composition.
